I’m a DM. Run 2 games a week. One game is online using Fantasy grounds….the other is a 3 person group that meets at iHop.
As every DM knows there are always those kinda players…the obnoxious one’s who don’t care about the party. I’ve got one. He ignores the other players, ignores me, and doesn’t take what i say as final ruling. He can’t respect the other players or the fact that I must maintain a fun, comfortable, and balanced game for all players. ….well he finally got on my nerves tonight. And in a Bit of Improv I trapped him in a crystal. He’s only allowed to do things that will benefit the party as a whole. That way he’s still useful. And The idea is that he’ll spend 3-4 sessions in this crystal as they try to find a way to free him, and he’ll form the good team player habit. That way I make it interesting, without singling him out.
What are your thoughts?

For Now my 8:00- 4:30 shift is a tedious but important task. I’m sorting nearly 1200 gels ( a cellophane like material used for tinting stage lates) according to color, light fixture, set location, size, and purpose. Often stopping to frame each one and size them if needed. I stare at lists that would seem like gibberish to the Lay Man. If you can tell me you know what
I haven’t been keeping up with my favorite comics recently. And I feel bad….so tomorrow I think I’m gonna put down The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand and start playing catch up on Spawn, check out Freddy vs Jason vs Ash (which I hear is delightfully bad), rereading Sin City, and catching up on a couple of my manga series.
